Alameda Unified School District Cancels Schools for Thursday
Classes are canceled due to the inclement weather that is forecast.

Information submitted by the Alameda Unified School District:
Out of an abundance of concern for the safety of students and staff, school district leaders have decided to close all AUSD schools tomorrow.
“This is not an easy decision to make, but we are concerned about the predictions of severe weather, power outages, and possible flooding,” says Interim Superintendent Sean McPhetridge. “The safety of our students and staff is of the highest priority to us, so we want everyone to stay home and off the roads.”
