Can You Help Catch An Alameda Thief?

A tip from a Patch reader in Dublin led to the arrest of an alleged package thief. Can you help catch this suspect?

ALAMEDA, CA - The Alameda Police Department has released six photos they say show a burglar in action. The photos were caught on a surveillance camera.

The theft happened at a business on Blanding Avenue. The suspect entered the business through an unlocked back door. According to police, he stole inventory and employee property.

On Wednesday, Dublin Police reported that an alleged package thief had been arrested because of a tip from a Dublin Patch reader, while her accomplice had been identified but not yet taken into custody. The suspect told police that she had stolen packages off of front porches in Dublin, Danville and Alamo "for the excitement of stealing."
