Crafternoon for a Cause: Hand-Sewn Soft Toys for Foster Children

Sunday Crafternoon for a Cause is a Charity Craft Workshop hosted by Modern Mouse and Foreignspell, all crafts made will be donated!

It’s our first charity crafting event of the year! This April, we’ll be Craft(ernoon)ing for a Cause. Each participant will make a hand-sewn softie that will be donated to a foster child via Sew Mama Sew and the National Foster Parent Association.

The ever-so-talented Niki Baker of Foreignspell will lead you through the process of stitching up your labor of love. We’ll be using beginner-level patterns purchased from Little Hibou Shop, but please arrive as on time as possible to give yourself plenty of time to complete the project.

Your $10 entry fee grants you full access to our Sunday Crafternoon workshop, including guided instruction, supplies, snacks and sips.

Niki Baker is a printmaker, SF native, music zealot, animal lover, Francophile, proud former Seattleite, expert whistler, food & libation enthusiast and competent juggler. She loves hand-carving elaborate stamps and printing them on a myriad of surfaces!
