Crashes, Stalls, Downed Trees: I-880 Is A Mess

BAY AREA — Hours of continuous rain have taken a toll on I-880. The California Highway Patrol has reported a steady stream of crashes, flooding and other problems on the highway, with several reports in just the last half hour.

Thankfully, no fatalities or serious injuries have been reported.

Right now, a downed tree is blocking the southbound offramp at 29th Avenue in Oakland.
