Energy Efficiency Home Tour

Oakland residents have opportunity to learn about simple home improvements that can save them money while saving energy.

Interested learning about how you can save money and make your home more energy efficient?

Come tour the home of Paul Carp and Hillary Spindler at 5678 Ocean View Drive in Oakland’s Rockridge neighborhood on Sunday, November 9 from 1:00 p.m.-4:00 p.m. to learn about the simple, energy-saving improvements they made to their 100 year old home. These Oakland locals also received $4,000 in rebates from Energy Upgrade California for installing energy-efficient home improvements such as new insulation, sealed ducts and air sealing.

At the home tour, contractors from Ultimate Home Performance and other on-site experts will be available to demonstrate what Oakland homeowners can do to reduce energy output and provide council on how to easily get started with your own home to save money on utility bills.
