
Artist and educator Kate Smart is delighted to offer art classes to children ages 2 to 5 as part of the High Street Station Cafe’s Pre-School Art Enrichment program. Smart has an extensive background in early childhood education, giving her a unique set of qualifications to teach art to children. Smart, a graduate of Mount Holyoke College’s Fine Arts program and a native of Laramie, Wyo., has had her work featured at cafes in Jacksonville, Fla., South Hadley, Mass., and now Alameda.
Classes will be hosted at the Lounge at High Street Station Cafe on Tuesday and Thursdays beginning May 17 and run for 12 weeks. Classes will be divided between ages 2 and 3 beginning ages 4 and 5. The younger class will begin at 10 a.m. on Tuesday and 11 a.m. on Thursday. Classes for older students will run at 11 a.m. on Tuesday and 10 a.m. on Thursday.
Packages begin at $100 for four sessions, and range up to 12 classes for $180. A 10 percent discount will be given for advanced registration, and all prices include free coffee for moms.

PRICING: 4 classes at $25 each = $100, 8 Classes at $20 each = $160, 12 classes at $15 each = $180
