Friends of the Alameda Free Library Book Sale

The Friends of the Alameda Free Library hold sales of donated books in May and October. The sales are held in the DeWitt O'Club, 641 West Red Line Ave. at Alameda Point, Alameda (SEE MAP).

This weekend is the Friends of the Alameda Free Library book sale, held every May and October. The sales is at the DeWiit O'Club.

It's your chance to chose from thousands of books, most priced between 50¢ and $2 dollars. These three-day events include a preview sale on Friday evening (free to members), all-day shopping on Saturday, and a Sunday clearance sale.

Admission is free for members of Friends of the Alameda Free Library, or $5 dollars. Saturday the sale runs 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and is free. Sunday the sale is noon to 4 p.m., admission is also free and a bag of books is $3, $5 for a box.
