"Into the Woods" presented by Alameda Children's Musical Theatre

Alameda Children's Musical Theatre (ACMT) kicks off its 29th season with its production of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's "Into the Woods."

"Into the Woods" features classic fairytale characters (Jack and the Bean Stalk, Little Red Riding Hood, Rapunzel, Cinderella) as they embark on a musical journey in pursuit of their "Happily Ever After" only to discover the sometimes unexpected consequences of wish fulfillment.

Location: "Little Theatre" at Alameda High School, 2200 Central Avenue, Alameda.

Tickets are $13 for adults and $7 for youth, seniors, active duty military.  Tickets may be purchased at the box office or from cast members.

Performances: December 2, 3, 9, 10 at 7:30 p.m. and December 3, 4, 10, 11 at 2:00 p.m.
