Chthonic Theater a small performance collective, founded by the , will perform the second act of a musical Odyssey called The Ship of Fools. The theater is located in Oakland's Jingletown district, just right across Alameda's Park St. Bridge.
The first act, which premiered last year, chronicled the capture and expulsion by an authoritarian government of the ‘radical elements’ of society, the Fools.
Now, in the second act, “Ship of Fools: The Terrible Beast,” the Fools face the perils of the sea. Witness a masquerade within a masquerade within a masquerade, travel to slippery depths, sing and be seduced by a myriad of maritime melodies!
