The Up and Down are from Alameda and for five years they have been playing a blend of Rock and Roll, Country, Alternative, Bluegrass, and Americana all over the Bay Area. They play a mix of covers (Dylan, Police, Cure, Weezer, Elvis Costello) and originals with Vocals/Harmonies, Guitar, Bass, Drums, Banjo, with some Steel Drum and Piano. The sound is both old and new all at once.
