Evil Lurks in Alameda!

So join in the fun and enter the 8th Annual Alameda – Haunt Your House!

A community contest and canned Food Drive in support of the Alameda Food Bank.

Every year we gather all the best goblins and ghouls to build their spider’s nests, dust of their tombstones and decorate their Alameda homes for Halloween.

Contestants agree to collect canned goods during the week leading up to October 31 in support of the Alameda Food Bank. We encourage folks from far and wide to bike, walk, drive or skip around town on Thursday, October 30 from 7 – 9:30pm and view all the frighteningly fabulous entries and bring some canned goods along to contribute to your favorite AHYH entry.

This year the Boo Crew will be awarding Most Haunted House and Most Canned Goods Collected. Winners get trophies and goodies galore! It’s not too late to enter if you’re up for a little friendly competition.

This is a great community event, a wonderful way to celebrate the holidays and help those in need. Please go to our website on 10/27 to see the list of all this year’s entries and mark your calendar to see them all on 10/30….and please, don’t forget the canned goods!
