Fire Damages Alameda Home
Two people were injured in the blaze, according to the fire department.

ALAMEDA, CA — Two people suffered minor injuries when fire ripped through a home on Lincoln Avenue in Alameda late Friday night. They were treated at the scene, according to the Alameda Fire Department.
When crews arrived around 11:30 p.m. heavy fire and smoke were pouring from the home. Three people who had been inside - a man, woman and girl - had all gotten out on their own before the fire department arrived.
According to the fire department, "Heavy fire was coming from a rear basement door, extending up the side of the house, into a bedroom, attic and the roof" when crews arrived in the 1600 block of Lincoln Avenue. "Fire also extended to a tree, storage building and was threatening a neighboring residence."

The fire was completely out just after midnight.
The cause of the fire is under investigation. A damage estimate has not been released.
