Guns Seized, Felons Arrested In Alameda
There were four people in a car stopped by police for running a stop sign.

ALAMEDA, CA — Alameda Police arrested two felons for possessing guns over the holiday weekend. In addition to the guns, police said there were bolt cutters and a ski mask in the car, along with two other people. The driver of the vehicle was cited and released, while the other person had no warrants and was also released.
The action started when a patrol officer saw a vehicle run a stop sign. The officer made a U-turn to to pull-over the vehicle, but the driver made a quick turn to try to get away. Turns out, he had pulled into a dead-end.
The officer blocked the vehicle and called for backup. Police say, "When the driver realized he was blocked in by the patrol car and our officer ordered him to stop at gunpoint, the driver stopped the vehicle and followed orders to turn off the car and put his hands out the window."

Once backup officers arrived, the four people were safely taken out of the car.
The driver was cited for driving on a suspended license.
