Kiwanis Club of Alameda Honors 10 8th Grade Students
8th grade students from seven Alameda schools were honored by the Kiwanis Club for leadership, academics and community involvement.
Each year the Kiwanis Club of Alameda honors 8th grade students with Hope of America Awards. Students are nominated by their teachers and chosen by a committee. This year 10 students received the award during a luncheon attended by friends, family, teachers, and the Honorable Mayor of Alameda, Trish Spencer.
