Man Shot While Driving in Bayview District
Police say the victim was shot in the chest.

SAN FRANCISCO, CA - A 27-year-old man suffered life-threatening injuries after he was shot while driving in San Francisco's Bayview District late Thursday night.
The shooting occurred around 11:40 p.m. near Third and Newcomb streets, according to police.
The victim was driving in the area when a suspect shot into his vehicle, striking him in the chest.

The suspect then fled in an unknown direction.
The victim suffered several gunshot wounds in his upper torso area and self-transported himself to the hospital.
