Mysterious lights reported over Alameda Avenue

Tonight's the night skeletons sing and pirates party!

Celebrate Halloween a day early (and before the rain!). Come out tonight and see all the fabulous 2014 Alameda-Haunt Your House! contestants.

All over the city, Alameda residents have done up their hallowed homes in celebration of the spooky season. All our participants are collecting canned goods in support of the Alameda Food Bank and competing for the coveted, Most Haunted House and Most Canned Goods Collected.

Alameda-Haunt Your House! is celebrating its 8th year and we are so grateful to all our haunters, supporters and to our amazing Boo Crew, who volunteer their time and help finance this annual event. We do this because we love our hometown and we love Halloween!!

This is a fun, family-friendly community activity everyone can enjoy and also a way to help others in need as the holidays draw near. So tonight, bike, skateboard, drive or zombie walk to see all our entries and - please don’t forget to bring a few canned goods to donate to your favorite haunts.
