The FOSC nursery grows natives from locally collected seeds and cuttings, primarily for use in our restoration projects. The nursery opens to the public only once a year. Don’t miss this chance to stock up on local native plants at great prices—and to support the Friends of Sausal Creek!
Directions: The nursery is located in Joaquin Miller Park, on Sanborn Road. If driving, take the Joaquin Miller Drive exit off of Highway 13, head uphill. Turn left onto Sanborn (there are lots of signs, including one in the median that says “Native Plant Nursery”). To reach the nursery, park near the Ranger Station, and walk past the yellow gate across Sanborn; the nursery is about 1/4 mile on your left. On the day of the plant sale, there will be greeters to assist you.
