ALAMEDA, CA — Claus Weisemann snapped this photo about a year ago. He told Patch in an email, that the vantage point is "looking westward on Ralph Appezzato Memorial Parkway and its extension towards the former naval base shortly after sunset. The sky was glowing in a nearly surreal orange and contrasting with the dark skyline of San Francisco in the background."
