Parents Upset About Elementary School Intruder
Children were at school at the time, and were locked in classrooms for their protection.

An intruder at Edison Elementary School Monday was so agitated that it took six police officers to subdue and arrest him, according to a letter from Superintendent of Schools Dr. Sean McPhetridge.
In the letter, McPhetridge writes, “a young man walked onto the site, became agitated and confused, and grabbed several staff members. At one point he also shut himself in the teacher’s room with several teachers and staff.”
The campus was locked down and all children were locked in classrooms. No children were hurt.
