Families can enjoy a kids' zone, Bay Area artisan vendors, and eco-friendly reusable drinkware and compostable food service, all organized by the West End Arts District just a short walk or bike ride away.

Humpback Whale Spotted In A CA River, 60 Miles From Its Pacific Ocean Home (patch.com) — An Alameda fisherman's trip to the Sacramento River turned extraordinary when he and friends spotted a full‑grown humpback whale surfacing about 60 miles from the Pacific. Health officials urge anyone potentially exposed to watch for fever or rash for up to 21 days, call a doctor before seeking care, and confirm their MMR vaccination status.
