Person Fatally Shot In Oakland
The victim was transported to an area hospital, where they were pronounced dead.

OAKLAND, CA — Someone was shot and killed early Sunday morning in Oakland.
Police were called shortly after 3:15 a.m. to the 400 block of 19th Street.
Arriving officers found a victim with at least one gunshot wound. Police attempted life-saving measures until they were relieved by paramedic personnel.

Police said the victim's identity is being withheld pending notification to next of kin.
