Person Rescued From Water Off Alameda
They were transported by ambulance to a hospital.

ALAMEDA, CA — One person was rescued from the water off Alameda at around 4:00 Tuesday morning, according to the Alameda Fire Department. The person was spotted in the water off Sea View Parkway, on the San Francisco Bay side of Bay Farm Island.
The fire department, assisted by Alameda Police, rescued the person, who was about 25 yards off shore. According to the fire department, "Water Rescue swimmers were immediately deployed on rescue boards to rescue the person. They were able to successfully rescue the person from the water and bring them back to shore."
The US Coast Guard was notified, but the rescue was pulled off without them.
