The San Francisco Symphony Youth Orchestra (SFSYO) performs Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf with special guest narrator actress Rita Moreno. The Puerto Rican-born Moreno is one of the original “triple threat” performers, excelling at acting, singing and dancing. Her formidable talents have been recognized at every level of the industry. Moreno is one of the very few people to win all four major entertainment awards: an Oscar for West Side Story; a Tony for The Ritz; an Emmy for The Rockford Files; and a Grammy for The Electric Company. Additional holiday music and a sing-along complete the concert.
