Proposed Backyard Farm Animal Rules Posted
You can check out the City of Alameda's draft proposal for keeping pigs, sheep and other critters i advance of a community meeting on the issues Thursday.
The City of Alameda has posted a draft of prosoed regulations to allow for keeping certain backyard farm farm animals within the city limits. The list includes chickens, pigs, goats, sheep, bees and rabbits.

A community meeting to discuss the proposed updates to the City’s code is scheduled for Thursday, April 25, at 6:30 p.m. at the Alameda Free Library, 1550 Oakland St.
