Registration Ends Thursday For Spelling Bee

ALAMEDA, CA — The 2019 Alameda Spelling Bee which will be held this Saturday, Feb. 2, 9:30 a.m. to noonat Otis Elementary School. The deadline to register is Thursday.

The contest is open to students in grades 4 through 9 who live in Alameda or attend school here. Prizes will be given to the winners.

The top spellers will be sponsored to participate in the Alameda County Spelling Bee, which will be held elsewhere in the county in March.
