See Jane Run Race Results

Saturday was . But luckily it gave the runners of the See Jane Run half marathon and 5k a break on Sunday.

Half Marathon Results

The winner of the half marathon was Julianne Chai, 36, from El Cerrito who finished the race in one hour 27 minutes, 22 seconds. 

Alameda's own Karen Barnes, 35, was second overall, finishing the race in an hour and 28 minutes, 10 seconds (her pace was 6:44). Barnes was second in her age group, behind Chai.

The next fastest Alameda finisher in the half marathon was 34-year-old Hallie Von Rock, who completed the run in an hour and 37 minutes, nine seconds and came in 14th overall and first in her age group (30-34).

Also in the top 50 from Alameda were Emily McCallon (11th in her age group, 35-39, and 29th overall) and Laura Grunbaum (6th in age bracket, 40-44, and 30th overall)

5k Results

The winner of the 5k was Oakland's Danielle Rope, 31, who ran the course in 20 minutes, 27 seconds.

The top Alameda finisher was 35-year-old Erin Kreitz who was just 16 seconds behind Rope, finishing in 20 minutes, 43 seconds. 

In fourth place overall in the 5k (and first in her age category) was 19-year-old Claire Ashcraft, who completed the route in 21 minutes, 20 seconds. 

Also in the top 20 finishers was Alameda's Jenna Kupa, 12, who finished in 13th place overall and second in her age category with a time of 23 minutes, 38 seconds (the top finisher in the under 18 bracket was Olivia Hill, 18, from Berkeley).
