Shop & Dine for Alameda Classrooms
Downtown Alameda businesses to host fundraiser on Nov 5 to support teachers and their students.

Downtown Alameda merchants are proud supporters of the local community and the enrichment of our young students. On Wednesday, November 5, businesses in the Park Street District are hosting a shopping and dining day for Alameda Education Foundation’s Adopt A Classroom program. To date, 15 shops are participating by donating a percentage of their sales from the day.
Our goal is to raise $2,000 -- enough funding for four classrooms that are in need of additional education resources. (Last year, donations helped to purchase new books for Maya Lin’s library and robotic supplies for Wood School’s after-school program.)
We invite you to get a start on your holiday gift buying and help make an impact on Alameda’s youth! Eat, drink, and shop to support Alameda classrooms on November 5!
