Support Scouting For Food

Collecting non-perishable food items to support our local food bank

Scouting America (formerly the Boy Scouts of America) is launching our annual Scouting for Food community service campaign this November. Across Alameda, hundreds of Scouts and volunteers are rallying to collect non-perishable food items to support our local food bank.

We need your participation to fight local hunger! Here is how you can help:

  • Saturday, November 7: Scouts will distribute door hangers detailing the food drive and requested items.
  • Saturday, November 14 (Collection Day): Please place your non-perishable donations outside on your doorstep or porch by 9:00 AM.

Our Scouts will collect your donations and deliver them directly to various food collection areas.
