Take Me Out to the (Neptune Beach Pearl) Ball Game
Alameda's collegiate summer league baseball team posted a 6-2 win over the Solano Bluebirds Sunday

Neptune Beach Pearl, the collegiate summer league baseball team that calls Alameda home, defeated the Solano Blue Birds Saturday 6-2.
The team will take part in today's Fourth of July parade in Alameda, then head back to the ball field for two home games against the Marysville Gold Sox, Tuesday at 4 p.m. and Wednesday at 1 p.m., at Willie Stargell Field behind . Friday the Pearl faces the Sacramento Scorch at home at 4 p.m.
Admission to all home games is free.

Players come from colleges across the country. The roster includes infielder Mike Senter of Alameda, who attends Oklahoma Panhandle State University.
According to the Pearl website, players are available after each game for photos and autograph signing.
