The Air you Spare may be your OWN

Spare your Lungs.

COPD? Asthma? Finding yourself easily Winded at night? Not since I lived in L.A. have I had to use my inhaler, except on these days.

Alameda, as an island in SF bay is in the perfect storm to get cloud cover, and thus SMOG. Every time you or your neighbor violate the Spare the Air restriction, you are endangering these suffering people’s health. Expect to hear more ambulances as people have breathing attacks.

  • Excessive smoke coming from a chimney;
  • Burning of trash, plastics, or other potentially illegal wood burning activity;
