Traffic Advisory: Broken Water or Sewage Pipe Closes Streets in Alameda

Alameda police say a burst water or sewer pipeline has closed a city street this afternoon. Otis Drive is closed to all traffic between Mound Street and High Street until further notice, possibly through tomorrow, police said.

The burst pipe poses the risk of a sinkhole in the street. City public works personnel are on scene.
