Tryouts Coming Soon for Alameda Vipers Basketball Club

There's a new youth basketball opportunity in town.

Just four months old, the Alameda Vipers Basketball Club established two teams for its first season. The Vipers are now recruiting for a second season and plan to create five teams for the fall.

The Vipers Club is affiliated with the national Amateur Athletic Union, and is hosting open tryouts between Aug. 17 and 27 for its teams for boys in grades 4-8. The Vipers are planning for five teams, one per grade.

Players will travel to other local cities to compete. Interested parties should contact the Alameda.Vipers@gmail.com or 510-306-4505 to schedule a tryout.
