Update: Alameda Indecent Exposure Suspect Arrested

Police say this man walked into a restaurant and exposed himself to diners. After this photo was widely distributed, police received leads.

ALAMEDA, CA — Remember this photo? Alameda police distributed it in mid-December and asked the public to help identify him after they say he exposed himself to diners at a Subway restaurant on Dec. 17.

Police received three more reports of indecent exposure the following day. Detectives pieced together evidence in the cases and linked them all to the same man.

After detectives worked with the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation, the suspect surrendered to authorities Dec. 26. Police say he is a registered sex offender.
