Video Shows Alameda Attack That Killed Woman

The 61-year-old woman was beaten during an attempted robbery after she left a restaurant last Friday night.

ALAMEDA, CA — Alameda Police have released video of an attack outside an Alameda restaurant that killed 61-year-old Alameda resident Cindy Le.

She died Tuesday of injuries that she suffered last Friday night in front of the Pho Anh Dao restaurant at 1919 Webster St. at about 11 p.m. Le's family owns the restaurant, which had just closed for the night. They own a second restaurant in Oakland.

Police call the attack a robbery attempt.

Police report that a 28-year-old man suffered head injuries in the same attack. Le and the man were transported to a local hospital, where the man was treated and released.

No arrests have been made in the case.
