Albany's Memorial Park Clean-up Day

ALBANY, CA — Want to see Memorial Park all spruced up - free of weeds and litter?

This Saturday, Friends of Albany Parks are sponsoring a clean-up day at Memorial Park from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. It's free to participate and volunteers will receive an official Friends of Albany Parks t-shirt. Lunch is provided by the Albany Community Foundation.

The organization believes that clean-up days "help foster a better sense of community and build social capital as neighbors meet and work with one another."
