Serena Loweree Dennis and Aaron Philip Johnson were married on May 11, 2013, in Mountain Ranch. Serena is the daughter of Fred and Jacqueline Dennis of Mountain Ranch and more recently Columbia, California. Aaron is the son of Treve and Joann Johnson of Albany, California. Serena grew up in Mountain Ranch. Both bride and groom attended UC Santa Cruz and received degrees in Environmental Studies. Serena is 4-H Program Coordinator in Bishop. In her free time, Serena enjoys hand dyeing fabric for quilting, joining friends for coffee and creative projects, and riding her bike. Aaron grew up in Albany, and graduated from Albany High School in 2001. He is Lands Director for the Eastern Sierra Land Trust in Bishop. In his spare time, he enjoys singletrack mountain biking, grabbing his camera for outdoor photography, and wrenching on bikes. The outdoor wedding was celebrated on the family property, continuing a tradition of weddings that started with the bride’s parents. Aaron and Serena plan a bicycle tour of the Oregon coast for their honeymoon this summer. The couple will reside in Bishop.
