• Napa court dismisses defamation suit over alleged abuse of teen (napavalleyregister.com) — A Napa County judge has thrown out a defamation lawsuit against a father who used social media to criticize an aide's employer after alleged mistreatment of his autistic son at American Canyon High School. The judge ruled the company's claim was an improper attempt to silence speech on student safety, noting the firm hadn't shown the father's statements were likely false.
