Celebrate “Waste Management” Earth Day at Beaumont Library

Children can see a garbage truck, hear a story time, and participate in environmentally friendly crafts

Celebrate “Earth Day” at Beaumont Library when one of Waste Management’s garbage trucks makes a visit at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 22.

Learn to Read-Reuse-Reduce-Recycle by participating in a variety of environmentally friendly craft activities, including potting a plant, digging for treasure, and using recycled paper to make decorated boxes or baskets. There will also be a story time.

Beaumont Library, a California Special District independent of both city and county government, provides library services to Beaumont and Cherry Valley and is located at 125 E. Eighth Street in Beaumont. Call 951-845-1357 or visit bld.lib.ca.us for more information.
