Chili Dog Monday For Ricky Flores At Wienerschnitzel

With a coupon, a portion of all sales today at the Wienerschnitzel in Beaumont will be donated to the family of the city worker killed last month.

Feel like a chili dog today?

The Wienerschnitzel in Beaumont will donate a portion of all sales Monday, to the Flores family. Their son, Ricardo “Ricky” Flores, 24, was killed last month.

John and Christine Perez, who own the participating Wienerschnitzel on 1658 E. 2nd St. in Beaumont, are just two of the many people that have reached out to the Perez family after the sudden loss of their son.

Flores, an employee of the Beaumont-Cherry Valley Water District, was marking the location of a water line on Veile Avenue when he was struck and fatally injured by a stake-bed truck at 2:44 p.m. Tuesday, June 28, investigators said. He was 24 years old.

With a flier, a portion of all purchases Monday starting at 8 a.m. until closing will be donated to the Ricky Flores Fund.
