2018 Golden Globe Award Winners: Complete List
Host Seth Meyers poked fun at Harvey Weinstein, actresses wore black to protest sexual harassment, and Oprah's speech brought many to tears.

BEVERLY HILLS, CA – Throughout the 2018 Golden Globe Awards, speaking up about sexual assault in Hollywood became a theme in every aspect of the night. Host Seth Meyer's greeted the audience with “Good evening, ladies…and remaining gentlemen,” before continuing an ardent opening monologue taking shots at Kevin Spacey and Harvey Weinstein.
Actresses protested the harassment in Hollywood by wearing black dresses and gave victory speeches laden with uplifting messages of perseverance. In a moving and empowering speech, Oprah Winfrey included nods to #MeToo and "Time's Up," a new initiative dedicated to confronting the abuse of power and promoting racial and gender equality in the workplace, according to USA Today.
"And when that new day finally dawns, it will be because of a lot of magnificent women, many of whom are right here in this room tonight, and some pretty phenomenal men fighting hard to make sure they become the leaders who take us to the time when nobody ever has to say `me too' again," Winfrey said.

Multiple stars on the red carpet were seen wearing black-and-white "Time's Up" pins in response to the whirlwind of sexual harassment allegations in the entertainment industry. Natalie Portman pointedly mentioned the all-male list of nominees for the Best Director – Motion Picture category, and in Elisabeth Moss' acceptance speech, she thanked Margaret Atwood for her strength:
“Margaret Atwood, this is for you and all of the women who came before you and after you who were brave enough to speak out against intolerance and injustice and to fight for equality and freedom in this world,” Moss said.
