Burlingame neighborhoods to receive free emergency supplies

Caches are designed for use in neighborhoods in the event of a disaster

Up to 20 Burlingame neighborhoods will receive free emergency caches, thanks to the Burlingame City Council. The caches, valued at $550, are for use in neighborhoods in the event of an emergency. They are filled with emergency supplies that allow neighbors to organize and assist one another after a disaster.

The Burlingame Neighborhood Network will be distributing these caches to neighborhoods that have a track record of engagement with emergency preparedness activities, including Citywide Emergency Drill. The next drill will be October 13.

Request an application form by emailing info@burlingamenetwork.org. Applications are due August 31. You can also sign up for the Citywide Emergency Drill at this email address.
