Hillsborough Police Investigate Wave of Burglaries

Hillsborough police are investigating three separate residential burglaries that happened in the span of more than eight hours on Tuesday.

The first burglary was reported in the area of Marlborough and Avondale roads and occurred between 3:10 p.m. and 5:40 p.m., police said. Police said they do not know how the suspect made entry into the home but that the person fled with multiple items.

The second burglary was reported in the 2700 block of Churchill Drive and happened sometime between 3:15 p.m. and 7:45 p.m., police said. The suspect in that burglary entered the home by smashing a bedroom window, according to police.

The third burglary in the area of Calaveras Court and Lakeview Drive occurred between 12:30 p.m. and 9 p.m., police said. The suspect made entry into the home by smashing a window on the second floor and then stole items, according to police.

Anyone with information about any of the burglaries is asked to call Hillsborough police at (650) 374-7470.

Residents who may have surveillance footage in the areas where the burglaries occurred are asked to view their video and share anything suspicious with police.
