Just In: Computer Glitch Causing BART Delays

BART is experiencing systemwide delays of 10 to 15 minutes because of a computer malfunction this afternoon, according to the transit agency.

Crews are working to reset the computer system that malfunctioned and BART should be recovering from the delays shortly, BART spokesman Taylor Huckaby reported at about 2 p.m. Some information is not displaying correctly on the digital signs at BART stations, Huckaby said.

No other information about the issue or its cause was immediately available.
