Parents Reassured at Threatened School
The private school is reacting to news that a 13-year-old boy was arrested for threatening to bomb the school.
Parents whose children attend Our Lady of Angels School in Burlingame have been reassured by school staff that there’s no threat to their children.
The school issued a statement to parents advising them that Burlingame Police had arrested a 13-year-old boy for threatening to bomb the school, and for threatening to harm a girl who attended the school. The threats were made via Instagram.

“Burlingame Police are handling it,” a spokeswoman told Patch. “We have issued a statement to our parents” that will not be shared with the media. Parents are “comfortable it’s being handled by everyone who should be involved,” she added.
She declined to reveal the boy’s current status with the school.
