Funding targets mental health, preventive care, healthy aging, and safety-net services, offering a timely opportunity for local groups to expand health programs in and around Burlingame. 
• Fatal E-Bike Crashes Prompt Bay Area Safety Review (hsjchronicle.com) — A new state-backed pilot in San Mateo County would bar children under 12 from riding certain e-bikes, a move partly driven by last year's fatal e-bike-related crash that killed 4-year-old Ayden Fang in Burlingame. The bills would also let cities lower trail speeds and require more safety features, potentially shaping how e-bikes are used locally.
• Cornell Picks Up Summer Juniors Qualifier Alexa Chang For 2027 (swimswam.com) — A Burlingame High School senior and Burlingame Aquatic Club swimmer, Alexa Chang, has verbally committed to continue her academic and swimming career at Cornell University in 2027.
