Riechel Reports.... This Sunday - “PANCAKES FOR PATRIOTS” October 15 2016

Greetings!

On Saturday, October 15, 2016, San Mateo County First Responders Lions Club will be sponsoring “PANCAKES FOR PATRIOTS” at Hillsborough Town Hall, 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. This is a fundraiser for the Hillsborough Adopt-a-Unit Program in support of the United States Army 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault) troops serving in Iraq. Proceeds will benefit the Postage For Packages Campaign.

For many years, Hillsborough and neighboring communities have participated in supporting our deployed military with care packages of snacks and hygiene products. The most meaningful addition is a letter to a soldier that greets him/her as the box is opened--a touch of America and home that lifts spirits and morale as high as the clouds.
