Secondhand Chic Fashion Show Raises Money For Injured & Abused Animals On The Peninsula

All proceeds benefit the PHS/SCPA's Hope Program which helps the neediest of animals, organizers say.

From PHS:The Peninsula Humane Society & SPCA (PHS/SPCA) is hosting for the 4th time its Secondhand Chic fashion show fundraiser with volunteer models, including adoptable animal models, walking the runway in clothes that have been donated to PHS/SPCA’s thrift store Pick of the Litter.

WHEN: Sunday, September 17, 2017 from 2:00-4:00 pm

WHERE: Burlingame Masonic Lodge, 145 Park Road Burlingame

PRICE: $50 per ticket

The event will include Champagne, hors d’oeuvres, a tea service with scones, sandwiches, sweet treats and a silent auction featuring items directly from the Pick of the Litter thrift store. Guests are encouraged to wear fancy hats and the guest with the best hat will win a $100 gift card to the Pick of the Litter.

All proceeds benefit the PHS/SCPA’s Hope Program which helps the neediest of animals giving them a second chance at life by providing life-saving medical and behavior treatment. On average the Hope Program saves more than 150 animals per month.
