Larsen Jay, RAF’s founder and CEO, along with Linda Plount, Silicon Valley RAF’s executive director, board members, and volunteers were all in attendance for the first delivery made at Lytton Gardens Health Care Center in Palo Alto.
“Expanding west from our headquarters in Knoxville, Tenn., has been a goal of mine since this organization started,” Jay said. “To see the number of people we have reached through RAF makes all of our work worth it, especially when the delivery may be the only thing that brightens someone’s day.”

After training more than 30 volunteers, RAF Silicon Valley, located at 3501 Edison Way in Menlo Park, is now ready to make deliveries to healthcare facilities, assisted living homes, rehabilitation centers and local hospitals in the Northern California Bay Area, according to Jay.
Random Acts of Flowers recycles and repurposes flowers with the help of dedicated volunteer teams, who deliver beautiful bouquets and moments of kindness in healthcare facilities across the country.
