Man Found Slumped Over Steering Wheel, Arrested Christmas Day On Mt. Hermon Road
The 38-year-old probationer from Santa Cruz County was allegedly in possession of meth, heroin, drug items and brass knuckles.

SCOTTS VALLEY, CA - Police in Scotts Valley on Friday arrested a suspect on suspicion of several crimes after he was allegedly found slumped over the wheel of his vehicle.
Robert Truhitte, 38, was arrested on suspicion of possession of narcotics for sale, transportation of narcotics for sale, committing a felony while out on bond, probation violation and possession of a prohibited weapon.
In the early morning hours of Friday, officers with the Scotts Valley Police Department responded to the Shell gas station on Mount Hermon Road on a report of a man slumped over the wheel of his vehicle.

Officers located the vehicle and contacted Truhitte, who was discovered to have five outstanding warrants for his arrest, was on active probation in Santa Cruz County and was out on bond from a recent arrest, police said.
Officers conducted a probation search on Truhitte’s vehicle and located several items of stolen property, 0.85 pounds of methamphetamine, nine grams of heroin, paraphernalia consistent with the sale and distribution of narcotics and a set of brass knuckles, police said.
