CARLSBAD, CA — Legoland California has thanked the frontline heroes of the coronavirus pandemic in a very LEGO way — with LEGO bricks.

A master model builder at the temporarily closed Carlsbad-based theme park used 640 LEGO bricks to build a message of gratitude.

Model builder Tim Sams constructed the white mosaic with black script and a yellow ribbon, all created out of LEGO bricks. The "thank you" sign spans more than 3-feet long and is nearly 3-feet tall.
